What is Report and Support?

At LSBU, we take the safety of our staff and students seriously. If you ever face a situation that makes you feel uncomfortable whether it be on campus or off you don't have to tolerate it.

Anyone can informally report an incident of Harassment, Sexual Misconduct, Hate, Bullying, Domestic Violence or Discrimination via Report + Support.

You can report on behalf of yourself or someone else.

For more information about Report and Support, please watch this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CqlbJhfdPcY

If you choose to request support via Report + Support and share your contact details, you will be contacted by a trained Student Liaison Officer (SLO). Their role is to ensure you are aware of your options (with no pressure or judgment) and to help you get support from the right people where needed.

Support options could look like, support to formally report an incident including internal or external reporting, access to mental health and wellbeing support, connecting with external support services. For more information see: What is a Student Liaison Officer (SLO) Appointment?

If you report anonymously, we won’t be able to offer any individual support because we won’t know who you are, but we will monitor all reports for trends, and take measures to respond where appropriate, for example by providing training or increasing security.

You can email studentwellbeing@lsbu.ac.uk for a SLO appointment or for more information. The Support pages on Report and Support offer further resources and support.
