If you're a parent to children under the age of 18, then you'll be eligible for additional support through Student Finance England, in the form of additional grants: the Parents' Learning Allowance and the Childcare Grant.
If you are a health and social care student, you may be able to apply for the NHS childcare grant.
LSBU can also offer additional support to students with caring responsibilities through our Student retention Fund.
