Disability & Dyslexia Support (DDS) is a dedicated service for students who have a disability, mental health condition, medical condition, specific learning difference (including dyslexia, dyspraxia and dyscalculia), ADHD or Autism.
You’re disabled under the Equality Act 2010 if you have a physical or mental impairment that has a ‘substantial’ and ‘long-term’ negative effect on your ability to do normal daily activities.
DDS provides advice on adjustments to your course and will help coordinate these to ensure that there are no barriers to your learning, enabling you to make the most of your time at LSBU. It is helpful if you can provide evidence relating to your disability or condition (and you will need to provide evidence if you would like to apply for Disabled Students' Allowances) however we can still discuss potential support available to you regardless of evidence.
